I have always loved The Awakening! As a kid I can remember sliding down the legs of this statue that use to reside at Hains Point in Washington DC.

Today I had the pleasure of taking photos of Melinda and precious Emery. Melinda's smile is infectious and Emery is just darling. I used the 50mm lens for these shots. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the opportunity to hang out with these two lovely chicks!

I just ordered the lens from Dell yesterday and to my suprise it will be delivered sometime today! Funny how it took them 2 weeks to deliver my camera and only one day to deliver the lens. Anyway, it's just in time for my visit to Richmond. I can practice on Jazia and Cissie!
